Food Guide

In northern Greece, it’s hard to eat badly. The ingredients are fresh, the food is honest and delicious. Around the location and in Edessa, there are plenty of good tavernas, ouzeris, and cafés. Whether you prefer meat, fish, or vegetarian dishes – the selection is wide, and almost every place has something special to offer.
Just try out different spots, order a few meze to share, and let yourself be surprised. The local wines and tsipouro are also well worth trying.
Below, we’ve listed some of our favorite places – some for their outstanding food, others for their beautiful views or atmosphere. We’ve noted that for each. Of course, we’d love for you to make your own discoveries too and share new recommendations with us.
