Welcome to our website!
We’re so happy you’re here and want to learn more about our special day. This page is meant not only to give you a first impression but also to help you find your way around and discover all the important information.

Yannik

Yannik is one of Niko’s oldest and closest friends.
Together they traveled through Australia, shared countless experiences, and stood by each other through good times and bad. It’s a friendship where words are often unnecessary – what matters most is simply being there for one another.

Johanna

Johanna is the one – Sofia’s oldest and most loyal friend.  Since their teenage years, they’ve walked through life side by side.  And, as fate would have it, she’s also the reason the two of us ever met.
So, of course, she’ll be right by our side on this very special day.

Thomas

They say good friends can never be separated – especially those who have known each other so long that they’ve grown up together, from childhood through their teenage years to adulthood. Thomas is Niko’s oldest friend – and still one of his closest.

Why Peraia?

While searching for our wedding location, we visited many places – from Chalkidiki to Peraia near Thessaloniki, and all the way to the remote regions of Florina. One afternoon, as we were once again on the road looking for the perfect spot, our route took us around Lake Vegoritida.
Along the way, we remembered a small taverna where we had eaten some time before – it sits just above the place that would later become our wedding location. We decided on a whim to stop there for a meal, enjoy the beautiful view over the lake and the surrounding landscape, and then drive down to the shore afterwards. The moment we arrived, we knew: this was it. The view, the calm, the atmosphere – we fell in love instantly.
Peraia also holds a special meaning for us: it lies exactly between our family roots – just about 30 minutes from Florina, Sofia’s hometown, and 30 minutes from Edessa, Niko’s hometown.
(By the way, “Peraia” is pronounced “Peréa,” with the emphasis on the é.)
